Magento module development is an important part of Magento. It is a very necessary process that helps to add new features and functionality to the e-commerce website.

The Magento module development process starts with the developer deciding what kind of functionality or features they want to add to their website. This step is essential because it prevents developers from wasting time on adding features that will not be used by the customer.

Once the developers have decided what modules they want, they need to create a plan for how these modules will interact with each other and how they will affect other parts of the site.

Developers then implement the modules according to their plan and test them thoroughly before releasing them for use on a live site.

To remove any module from your Magento store, mark it for deletion by clicking on its checkbox and then click on the "Delete Selected" button at the bottom of the page.

The module will not be deleted until you have clicked on "Finish".

Deleting an item from your Magento store means that you will no longer have access to it. An item cannot be recovered after it has been deleted.

Archiving an item in your Magento store means that you are still keeping the items in your store, but they are not accessible to customers any more.


  • Log in to your domain using SSH/CLI and go to the root of your store.
  • Run the bin/magento module:status command.
  • Use the command bin/magento module:disable Internal Module Name> to disable an internal module.
  • Run the bin/Magento setup:upgrade command.
  • Go to the root directory of the module you want to uninstall.

We can use the Uninstall-Module command to uninstall the PowerShell module directly, but it must not be in use, otherwise it will throw an error. When we execute the Uninstall-Module command, the module can be uninstalled from either the current user profile or the profile of all users.

A module is a logical grouping of blocks, controllers, helpers, and models that are tied to a certain business feature. A module contains one functionality and has minimal dependencies on other modules, in keeping with Magento's dedication to optimal modularity.

  • Create the module folder.
  • Make a file called etc/module.xml.
  • Make a php file called registration.
  • To install the new module, run the bin/magento setup:upgrade script.
  • Verify that the module is operational.
