You can use this method to specify a set of criteria. Elements that do not meet the requirements are eliminated from the list, while those that do are returned. This technique is frequently used to limit down the search for a certain element within a bunch of items.
The first(), last(), and eq() filtering methods let you to select a specific element depending on its location in a set of elements. Other filtering methods, such as filter() and not(), let you choose elements that meet or don't meet a set of criteria.
The find() method is used to locate all of the selected element's descendent elements. By traversing the DOM tree from root to leaf, it locates the element. The filter() method filters all of the items and returns the one that matches, while removing the elements that do not.
