This video of the IOT course shows how to get data into an Arduino sketch from the serial port. Data can be sent to the Arduino from the Serial Monitor window in the Arduino IDE.
A user can enter data in the serial monitor window’s input field to send values and data to the Arduino. You can use any serial program or even a custom serial application to send data to the Arduino instead of using the Serial Monitor window.
In the previous video, we saw how to make a circuit in tinkercad, same way for understanding-‘serial input’, the example is shown in the video. You can do the same project as explained or make a new one and try it on tinkercad.
