Google Posts are essentially a microblogging feature within the GMB results. You can use a GMB Post to share new or unusual items and services immediately in Google searches and Maps, as well as to post events. A photo, video, text, a Call-to-Action (CTA), and a URL to a landing page or your website can all be included.

Select your post type from the menu by clicking Posts. Each GMB post must include an image, text, and a clear call-to-action. Time limits are also present in some cases.

Google Posts are absolutely free, and all you need is a Google My Business profile to use them. After 7 days, posts become less noticeable. Event and offer Posts are the only exceptions, as they can be set to display for the duration of the event or offer. A call-to-action (CTA) button can be included in each post.

  • The keywords that your business is targeting.
  • What the target audience is looking for.
  • How long your post should be.
  • What are the best images for your post.
  • How many times do people usually visit your page and how much time they spend there.

Some other tips for creating a successful post on Google my business include:

  • Make sure your post is keyword-rich
  • In the headline, use the most popular keywords
  • List out the benefits of your product or service
  • Keep it short and concise
