To become an Amazon seller, go to the Amazon Seller Sign up page and click the 'Register Now' button to begin the seller registration process. You must give basic information such as your company entity's name, official address, and phone number throughout the seller registration procedure.

  • If your phone number is associated with a customer account, sign in with your email and password.
  • If not, select 'Create a new Amazon.in account.'
  • Input the legal business name from your GST.
  • Verify your phone number using an OTP.
  • Provide the name of your store, the product, and the location of your business.

For sellers, Amazon features a simple and transparent cost structure with no hidden fees. You must pay referral and closure fees to sell on Amazon.in. There are no additional fees for listing, money collecting, or subscription. These fees will only be charged if you make a transaction.

Using Amazon Brand Registry is free, however your brand must be registered as a trademark in the United States. This will set you back $499 for ten years.

yes If you're selling taxable items online, you'll need to include GST information. When you register with Amazon, you must enter your GST number.
