    • tags can all use the list-style feature. The list-style is applied to elements that have the display: list-item attribute. You can supply one or all of the values (list-style-type, list-style-position, and list-style-image values) when using the list-style property, and they can be provided in any sequence.

For an ordered list, the default list-style-type value is decimal, but for an unordered list, the default is disc. The list-style-type property accepts the following values: Discs are arranged in an ad hoc manner (default)

The list-style-type CSS property specifies the list item element's marker (such as a disc, character, or custom counter style).

The list style is controlled by the list-style attribute in CSS. This property is a shorthand notation for three other properties: list-style-type, list-style-position, and list-style-image.

list-style is a shortcut for setting the properties list-style-type, list-style-position, and list-style-image all in one declaration. The shorthand version for formatting your list is list-style. The indicator to the left, such as none, disc, decimal, and so on, is referred to as list style type.
