When pointing over an element, the cursor attribute defines the mouse cursor to be displayed. auto is the default value.
cursor: value; Property Values: auto: This is the default property where the browser sets a cursor.
You may turn the cursor into a hand pointer while hovering over any element, not only hyperlinks, by using the CSS cursor property with the value pointer. When you place the cursor over a list item in the following example, it will change to a hand pointer instead of the typical text selection cursor.
When the mouse pointer is over an element, the cursor CSS attribute sets the mouse cursor, if any, to appear. You can use a keyword to specify the cursor type, or you can load a specific icon to use (with optional fallback images and mandatory keyword as a final fallback).
