It's conceivable that your phone or the Instagram app hasn't been updated in a while if you don't have a Reels symbol in your bottom navigation tab, you can't publish on Instagram Reels, or you can't even view Instagram Reels in the app.

Since the platform's introduction of the short-video format last year, businesses and creators have discovered that these posts generate more than just views. Many people have witnessed a rise in their number of followers and engagement rates. By sharing a Reel every day for a month, one Instagram user claims to have attracted 2,800+ followers.

Simply open the Instagram camera and select REELS to access Reels. This button will be used to create a Reel.

Reels, like posts, are supposed to be discovered when you have a public account. As a result, they may show up under the Explore tab (public accounts only). They'll appear in your Reel feed as well as your standard Instagram page, just like a post (to your followers only for private account).

When you have something noteworthy and scroll-stopping for your audience, it's a solid rule of thumb to share a Reel. Because Reels are becoming such an important element of many brands' content strategies, posting 4–7 Reels every week can help you reach the most new accounts.
