The PLC Link Relay is a high-switching-capacity interface between automation equipment and system peripherals. By just replacing the relay and leaving the wiring connected. With an integrated input and safeguard circuit, the PLC relay simplifies installation.
A PLC differs from relay logic in that it is a programmable device, whereas relay logic is a network of hardwired electrical components. A PLC and relay logic can both do logical computations, but a PLC uses a microprocessor whereas relay logic uses electric circuits.
PLC stands for programmable logic controller, and it is a type of computer that is used to operate machines and processes. Hard wiring associated with traditional relay control circuits is virtually eliminated. Much of the external wiring that would be necessary for process control is replaced by the programme.
A PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) is an industrial computer control system that continually monitors the status of input devices and controls the state of output devices using a bespoke programme. That is, you can mix and match the different types of Input and Output devices to meet your needs.
Relays are used to separate different voltage levels. While the PLC controls the relay, it is used to energise the starter, which then switches the motor voltage. Relays, which are wired to produce a control sequence, can also be used for simple control schemes when a PLC would be too expensive.
