When comparing two values, comparers are employed. Let's say we're comparing two physical quantities (temperature, pressure etc.). The equal command can be used to determine whether a first comparison value is equal to a second comparison value.
The Equal block compares the two values stored in Source A and Source B, returning "1" if they are equal and "0" if they are not.
The logical functions are implemented in a ladder circuit by interconnecting ordinarily open (type-A) and normally closed (type-B) contacts. Because the first and second contacts must both be closed to complete the circuit, connecting two contacts in series creates an AND function.
The LES, often known as the Less Than, is a comparison command that compares two values. The instruction accepts two numbers, floats, or constants and returns TRUE if "Source A" is less than "Source B."
