Serial USB Driver Installation & Uploading the Programming

Driver Easy can be downloaded and installed. Run Driver Easy and select Scan Now from the menu. To automatically download the correct version of the driver, click the Update button next to it. You can then manually install it (you can do this with the FREE version).

Select the appropriate PCI serial port driver for your operating system. Unzip the file and look for a file called "setup.exe," "install.exe," or something similar that will run the device's installation wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the PCI serial port driver.

The USB serial driver presently supports a variety of USB to serial converter products, as well as some devices that communicate with the device via a serial interface from userspace. For further information on the various devices, see the individual product sections below.

Open Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers > right-click USB Root Hub (USB 3.0) > Uninstall Device > reboot PC to complete the installation. To reinstall a specific device, go to the same place as before, but this time pick Properties > Driver > Update Driver to install from your computer.
