Things to know before Setting Up Your LinkedIn Account

  • Expand your network.
  • Include a list of your relevant abilities.
  • Highlight the services you provide.

At the top of your LinkedIn homepage, click the Me icon. Then select View profile. On your profile page, on the right rail, select Edit public profile & URL. Locate your public profile URL in the right rail's section Edit URL.

You should also make sure that you have a summary section and an experience section. The summary section is where you can put your skills and achievements, while the experience section is where you can list all of your previous work experience.

LinkedIn is a social networking site that is mainly used for professional purposes. It's a great way to connect with other professionals and potential employers. The LinkedIn profile is an important part of the site, as it's the first thing that people see when they visit your profile. Here are some tips for creating an effective LinkedIn profile:

  • Make sure your profile contains recent, relevant information about you and your work history
  • Include a professional headshot in your profile photo section
  • Keep all information on your LinkedIn profile up to date, such as education, current job, etc.
  • Add links to any articles or blog posts you've written
  • Share content from other people or companies on LinkedIn with relevant groups

Simply click the Me button, navigate to the View Profile area, select Featured Skills & Endorsements, and click the pencil-shaped edit button. Rearrange your skills by clicking and dragging them.
