Click "Edit public profile & URL" on the right-hand side of your profile page. This will open a new tab in your browser. You'll find the ability to change your profile and URL on the side of your profile page. 2. Return to the right-hand side of your screen and take note of the URL supplied under "Edit your custom URL."
"linkedin.com/pub/yourname/29/890/2b9/" would be the default URL. In contrast, each in-crowd member's URL would be "linkedin.com/in/their-name." You'll appear to be a sophisticated LinkedIn user with a URL like this, and the URL will look much better whenever and wherever you post it.
It will be something like www.linkedin.com/in/yourname.
On the right rail, click Edit public profile & URL.
In the right rail, click the Edit icon next to your public profile URL under Edit your custom URL. It'll be something along the lines of www.linkedin.com/in/yourname.
In the text box, type the last section of your new custom URL.
Save the file.
Select your profile picture.
Go to Settings, then Visibility, then Edit Public Profile.
Toggle your profile's public visibility to Off to make it invisible to others.
