Installation of Laravel

There are a few system requirements for the Laravel framework:

  • PHP >= 5.4 and PHP 7.
  • PHP Extension for Mcrypt
  • PHP OpenSSL Extension
  • PHP Mbstring Extension
  • PHP Tokenizer Extension

To install Laravel on your local machine, you will need a few things:

  • A web server with PHP support
  • Composer (a package manager for PHP)
  • Git (a version control system)
  • A text editor like SublimeText or Atom
  • Laravel installation files

The advantages of using Laravel installer are:

  • It saves time of installation and configuration.
  • It reduces the number of errors that might be encountered during installation.
