HTTP sessions are used when you need to store information on the user's browser and it needs to stay there until they close their browser or log out from their account. Laravel allows your application to easily manage these sessions by providing a simple interface for your application controller class.

Laravel HTTP Session Handling is a package that provides a simple interface to make it easy for your application to use sessions. It's built on top of the Laravel session driver and its job is to provide an interface similar to the one provided by PHP's session_start() function.
