The psychometric approach is defined as a traditional research method for standardising intelligence development tests. Some experts agreed and defined psychometric approach, triachic theory, multiple intelligence view, and processing approach as psychometric approach, triachic theory, multiple intelligence perspective, and processing approach.

There are four essential concepts in psychometrics that are used to measure the quality of an evaluation. (1) Reliability, (2) validity, (3) standardisation, and (4) bias-free results are the four criteria.

Psychometry is the study of the mental perception of physical objects. It is a special skill used in HVAC to determine the condition of an HVAC system.

Psychometrics helps in making smarter decisions by quantifying human performance, evaluating data and behavior, and getting insights. Its applications are in many areas such as employment, education, hiring, healthcare, and marketing.
