Tally Prime - Complete Accounting with Tally > Procurement Process

Introduction to Procurement Process

62.3k

Procurement is the process of purchasing, renting, or leasing products and services. Preparing specifications and solicitations is part of the procurement process. Evaluation of bids and proposals, contract awarding, and contract administration are all part of the procurement process.

Direct procurement, indirect procurement, and services procurement are the three basic forms of procurement activity. Direct procurement entails the acquisition of raw materials, machinery, and wholesale goods that contribute directly to the company's ultimate product.
