Tally Prime allows industrial facilities to track the generation of raw materials as well as their transformation into semi-finished commodities and final products. Tally Prime allows manufacturers to effortlessly divide their stocks by generating stock groups and viewing stock availability information by group.

The following are the primary aspects of the manufacturing account that make it so simple to understand and maintain: All expenses, both direct and indirect, as well as the cost of raw materials in the manufacture of manufacturing items, are included in the statement as debits and credits from various sources.

Manufacturing costs are divided into three categories:

  • direct worker
  • different materials
  • overhead.

In tally, the shortcut key Alt + F7 is used to enter a stock journal.

The fundamental distinction between the Trading Account and the Manufacturing Account is that the Trading Account shows the company's gross profit, whilst the Manufacturing Account shows the cost of the goods it manufactures.
