Callbacks are an excellent approach to deal with something after it has been accomplished. Here, "something" refers to the execution of a function. Callbacks can be used to perform a function immediately following the return of another function. Objects are the type of JavaScript functions.

The runtime model of JavaScript is based on an event loop, which executes the code, collects and processes events, and executes queued sub-tasks. This model is distinct from models written in other languages such as C and Java.
