Maya Installation and UI Interface

A multitude of tools, editors, and controls are included in the Maya user interface (UI). You can use the main menus or special context-sensitive marking menus to get to them. To speed up your productivity, use shelves to store crucial icons or hotkeys. Maya program allows you to customize the user interface to your liking.

For now, the most significant hotkeys are move, scale, and rotate, although there are a few more. Menus and bookcases: Maya's menus, which number seven, are located at the top of the screen. Maya's tools, settings, and capabilities may all be controlled and implemented via these.

Go to Windows > Preferences/Settings > Color Settings. The three tabs in the Colors pane regulate distinct color uses and function significantly differently: Change the colors of the user interface and view panels, as well as the view backdrop color, using the General tab.
