Creating Fireworks with Particles in Maya

  • Select Effects > Fireworks >
  • In the option window, adjust the controls as desired.
  • In the settings window, click Create or go to Effects > Fireworks.
  • Press and hold the play button.
  • Turn off the Display Geometry property for faster playing.

The Particle Systems feature in Maya lets you to design complicated collections of objects with similar appearances and behaviors. Particles are great for animating challenging effects like explosions, bee swarms, and star galaxies.

Particles in Maya are divided into two categories: hardware rendered and software rendered. Using your graphics card's on-board hardware, you can render hardware particles significantly quicker.

  • Complete one of the following tasks: Select the item or CVs you wish to emit fire from, then edit the points, vertices, or particles.
  • Select Fire > Effects >
    In the Create Fire Effect Options window, set the properties and click Create.
  • Activate the animation.
  • To see the fire, add a light to the scene and software render it.
