FAQs

Blink properties are short pulses of light that can be used as a method of communication between two devices in SCADA networks. They can be used as a method of identification or to convey information about the device that is sending them out or receiving them back in order to understand what is going on with the device.

  • The blink property is the change in the value of a property over a period of time. This concept is one of the most important concepts in SCADA.
  • To calculate the blink property, you need to know what your input and output are, how long it takes to make a change, and how long it takes for your output to return back to your input.

The benefits of using a Blink controller are:

  • It allows you to collect real-time information about your system which helps you make better decisions on how to improve your production process
  • You can reduce downtime and increase uptime by reducing the time required for maintenance
