FAQs

Django uses a get method to retrieve data from a database. Get is a method in the Django framework which retrieves a value from a database. There are two main types of get methods: standard and query. A standard get method retrieves data from the database and returns it as an object. A query get method retrieves data from the database and returns it as raw SQL query strings, which can then be executed. GET Method returns a query dictionary that one can access like any other python dictionary and finally use its data for applying some logic. similary if the method of transmission is POST , you can use request.

The difference between GET and POST methods is the way of transferring data from a client to a server. In a GET method, the client sends an HTTP request to the server which sends only the requested resource. In a POST method, the client sends an HTTP request with content of what is going to be sent back to it.

The POST request send by the web server is responsible for sending the data to be processed by the application. The web server sends a message with all the data that needs to be sent to an application. POST requests are used when there is data that needs to be sent to an application or service, but the message doesn't need any processing.
