SQL Server Installation Step by Step

  • Open the.exe file and run it. "SQLServer2017-SSEI-Dev.exe" should be double-clicked.
    Select a version.
  • Accept the conditions.
  • Decide on a location.
  • Complete the installation procedure.

  • Make a new instance of SQL Server.
  • Setup can be found by clicking here.
  • Click Installation from the left menu.
  • Add features to an existing SQL Server installation or create a new SQL Server stand-alone installation.
  • Allow the installation wizard to look for the most recent updates.
  • The Setup Support Rules wizard will now be launched by the installation.

SQL Server requires at least 6 GB of hard drive space to run. The amount of disc space required depends on the SQL Server components you install.

  • Application Server should be installed and configured.
  • Access Manager must be installed and configured.
  • Instances should be added to the Platform Server List as well as Realm/DNS Aliases.
  • For the Load Balancer, add Listeners to the Clusters.
  • All Application Server Instances should be restarted.

If you have a service named SQL Server, look under Administration ToolsServices (or type services.msc in the console) (SQLEXPRESS). If you do, it will be installed.

The course is very good. I have stuck at a point that how you create multiple rows with a single insert in sales.customer table. I get only one customer data. this table is related to bikestore data.
