A collection of related sorts of data is referred to as an array. For example, if we need to record the names of 100 people, we can use a string type array. new Array[] of Strings The above array can only hold 100 names. String[100];

Instead of defining distinct variables for each item, arrays are used to hold numerous values in a single variable. To declare an array, use square brackets to define the variable type: string[] automobiles We've now declared a variable that will hold a string array.
