Software Requirement in Wordpress
In today's tutorial we are going to see which are the software required for using Wordpress.
If you want to use development tools, than the software which we can use are 'Notepad' or 'Notepad++'.
As wordpress is PHP's content management system, so it has some server requirements. There are three Apache server requirements, XAMPP, WAMP, and LAMP.
XAMPP's full form is Cross-Platform(X), Apache(A), MySQL(M), PHP(P) and Perl(P).
WAMP's full form is Windows(W), Apache(A), MySQL(M), and PHP(P).
LAMP's full form is Linux(L), Apache(A), MySQL(M), and PHP(P).
The difference between all three is that XAMPP is an Cross-Platform which means it can run in Windows (W) as well as Linux(L). While WAMP is used if our Operating system is windows ie. Window 7, Window 10, Windows XP etc... And if our OS is Linux, we are required to install LAMP Apache server.
HTML is used to create the structure of our website. We can add image or any text using HTML in our website.
CSS provides different types of properties such as background colour, background style, font style, font weight, etc...
We also need Wordpress installation which we can download from wordpress.org site.
Whereas we also need Core PHP for creating dynamic website, hence it is also an important technology used in WordPress.
While we use MySQL for storing our data. We will use PHPMYADMIN as our database.
