Menu and Submenu

Menu and Submenu in Wordpress

In today's video our topic is Menu and Sub Menu's in Wordpress.

First of all we will go to you 'Menus' and add the sub pages which we created in Pages section to display as Sub menu.

Now to create submenu we just need to slide the page to right side and place it below the page whose submenu we want it to be.

Now if we go to our website, we will see that the submenu for that parent page which we saved will appear below it.

Similarly, we can add as many pages as sub item for our menu.

We can also create submenu of the submenu which we already created. We just need to slide that to the right side of its parent menu/page.

Now we will see that how we can active any one menu from number of menu's which we created. Further we will create one new menu and save that menu according to our requirement.

So now to activate the new menu which we created, we need to go to 'Manage locations' column and select the new menu as our primary menu and save the changes.

After doing this we can see that on our website the new menu which we created has been displayed.

So this is how we can manage different menus and select any one to display on our blog or website.

We can also add custom links to the menu, ie. we can add any other custom URL and add that to our menu.

For that we need to go to the custom links option and paste the URL which we want to, and add the text name which will be displayed in our menu and user will be redirected to the URL we entered by clicking on it.

This is how we can manage menu and submenu by drag and drop method in Wordpress without any type of coding.
