Saturdays and Sundays are the worst days to post on Instagram, especially in the morning and around midnight. From 1 a.m. until 5 a.m., people are the least active. It all depends on your target demographic and when they are most engaged on social media.
Sort your posts by your target metric, such as likes, impressions, or engagement rate, to determine the optimum times to post for your social media account. Then check to see when the most popular posts were published, and whether any of the times keep popping up for your most popular posts. Make a note of the times. These are the greatest times to post right now.
It's best to publish to your Instagram account no more than once a day, and no more than twice a week. More stories could be published on a regular basis.
You should do 5-7 Reels every week, according to Instagram. I don't believe you should do one every day, but the number of Reels that truly took off on my account compared to the amount I did is quite low (so posting them often is important).
Accounts gain from reduced competition (most posts are posted between 9 AM and 1 PM each day), as well as traffic from users during their first scroll of the day — even if it's a few hours after the post was shared — by posting earlier in the day.
