To resize the space, drag a column edge left or right, or a row edge up or down. This allows you to fine-tune the appearance of your report.
Determine which column you want to enlarge.
Hover your mouse over the topmost cell of that column's right edge to see a cross or T shape.
Right-click on the right-hand boundary and do a double-click.
The column will automatically resize to fit the column's longest string of text.
Date formatting in MS Excel is an important aspect of the spreadsheet. It helps you to sort and filter data according to the date on which it was created. You can use various formats like DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY etc., but the most commonly used format is DD/MM/YYYY for both cells and axis labels.
Select the entire row you want to change:
Select "Row Height" from the popup menu by right-clicking.
Click the OK button after entering the new row height.
The height of your row should now be the same as before.
