The quickest way to do this is to press Shift+Ctrl+; (that's a semicolon) in Excel's built-in shortcut for entering the current time. You'll see the current time as you want it if the cell is configured to show times in 24-hour format.
Choose the cell where the current date or time should be entered. To insert the current date, use the shortcut Ctrl + ; (Control + semicolon). To insert the current time, use Ctrl + Shift + ; (Control + Shift + semicolon). Use the combo (Ctrl + ;) as a shortcut.
The first thing that you need to do is to select the cell in which you want to enter a date. Now, you can use the keyboard shortcuts or click on the 'Date' button on the toolbar. This will open a drop-down menu with all possible date formats. You can then select any one of them and enter your date in it.
The easiest way to enter a time in MS Excel is to use the "TIME" function.
This function takes two arguments: Hours and Minutes.
For example, if you want to enter 10:00 AM, you would type "=TIME(10,0)" into your cell.
If you want to enter 10:30 AM, you would type "=TIME(10,30)".
The formula is as follows:
=DATEDIF(Start_date, End_date, "y")
