The Alignment function in Excel is used to align text in a cell or column. The Alignment function can be used to center, right-justify, or left-justify text within a cell. The default alignment is left-justified.
In Microsoft Word, there are four forms of paragraph alignment: left-aligned, center-aligned, right-aligned, and justified.
This function can be used to:
Align text to the left, right, or center of a cell
Align text to the top, middle, or bottom of a cell
Align text to the left and right side of a cell
Align text vertically up and down within a cell.
Alignment is a process that arranges the data in a table so that each column has the same width and each row has the same height. This makes it easier for us to read and interpret data.
Aligning data is the process of bringing two or more sets of data into a common format. The easiest way to align the data is by using the same columns and rows.
